Labour for Women

We passionately believe that women should have a much higher representation in politics.

We are committed to the election of more Labour women to public office at every level, and we support women to play a full part in the Labour Party. From equal pay and job prospects to decision-making and leadership, women's voices need to be heard.

We are at an important time in our history. 40% of Labour's Shadow Cabinet are women and 30% of Labour MPs - an increase from 10% over 25 years, but there is much work to be done across the party to achieve our target of of 50% our MPs elected to Parliament.

Councillors and campaigners

We want to see more women councillors and campaigners, ensuring our views are listened to and acted upon.
